HOTEL ACCOMMODATION DURING THE CONGRESS
HOTEL BOOKINGS
The Congress Secretariat has reserved a number of rooms at advantageous rates (cf. list of hotels below). The rates quoted are per room and cover room charge, service, breakfast and VAT. Most of the hotels are located in the city centre.
HOW TO MAKE A HOTEL RESERVATION
To make a hotel reservation, we kindly ask you to complete the appropriate section on the on-line registration form.
A deposit equal to TWO NIGHTS’ accommodation at the chosen hotel for each room you booked is required.
Rooms reservations will be confirmed once the requested hotel deposit is received and upon hotel availability.
The deposit will be credited to your hotel account and the balance should be settled directly at the hotel before checking-out.
We advise you to proceed with your hotel bookings as early as possible. However, we will take every effort to ensure that your choice can be met.
CONFIRMATION OF HOTEL RESERVATION
You will receive a written confirmation of your reservation on receipt of the appropriate hotel and Congress registration payments.
CHANGE OF HOTEL BOOKING
Any changes to your hotel reservations must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat, ihc@netcabo.pt. We kindly ask you to not communicate with the hotel directly. The Congress Secretariat will make all necessary amendments. The first change will be processed at no charge, further changes will be charged at EUR 10.
LATE / DELAYED ARRIVAL
The hotel deposit is to reserve your room on the first two night of your stay. If for any reason you do not check till the second night of your reservation, the hotel will NOT continue to hold your room! To ensure that your reservation is maintained, please advise us immediately of any difficulties you might have.
CANCELLATION OF THE HOTEL RESERVATION
You need to send a written notice of cancellation to the Congress Secretariat, Meeting Point, by e-mail ihc@netcabo.pt or by fax +351214159909.
Refunds can only be granted if the room can be resold. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that cancellations made after 10 August 2010 are not refundable. Refunds will be processed after the congress.
'NO SHOWS'
Please bear in mind that the hotels reserve the right to charge the RESERVATION IN FULL!
